Attending were Steve Finegold, Eric Wahl, Marianne Ludwig, Desiree Schmitt, Doug Copeland.
Hardware has arrived for Interfaith Hospitality Network (located at Pilgrim Church), Eric Wahl will install; Doug Copeland will coordinate.
- IHN will be reimbursed ($370) for one year of their SBC DSL.
- Per Steve Finegold, Civic Innovation Lab is interested in TwiFi applying for a grant; they also offer mentoring and organizational assistance.
- We will pursue this opportunity.
Lincoln Park is planning for wifi but the funding/responsibilities are undecided.
- Joe Cimperman and the City are enthused and helping to make it happen.
- The Ukrainian Archives Museum is interested in going wireless and could augment our park coverage (along with Civilization).
- They want to offer their artifacts online.
The Edison fundraiser will be in June, after their patio opens.
- Southside wants their fundraiser & TwiFi kickoff in September.
- Other fundraisers aren’t yet scheduled.
- TwiFi will have an information/demonstration booth at the Taste of Tremont, July 18, supported by Texcel and located outside Scoops.
