New Design

Welcome to the newly designed Tremont Wireless Neighborhood website! This post explains a bit behind the new look and what you can expect from us in the coming weeks.

As you can see, we’ve changed around quite a bit. The biggest bell and whistle is the customized Google Map of neighborhood hotspots associated with TwiFi. Simply click on any of the map pins and you’ll get a bit of information on each hotspot, and links to their sites when applicable.

In addition, we’re in the process of compiling other specific information regarding our short and long-term goals and the TwiFi mission. You will be able to access contact information, FAQs, and tutorials through the About TwiFi section.

If you’d like to volunteer to help host training sessions, install antennae and wireless equipment, assist in networking or simply send a few dollars our way, Support TwiFi is the place to go. Any help is appreciated, as equipment is costly.

The Links section is where you can go to find more about other communities that are engaged in similar projects as well as other Tremont specific resources.

Thanks for stopping by in cyberspace, now come to Tremont and enjoy some ubiquitous TWiFi!
